The Two Bays Trust is a fantastic North Cornwall charity working to protect the coastal environment while supporting the wellbeing of local people. Through conservation projects, community activities, Green Social Prescribing and Blue Health sessions, the charity helps people experiencing stress, anxiety and social isolation to reconnect with nature in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
We were delighted to supply the charity with a beautiful female Labrador, Narla—now known as Amara—to support its programmes. We recently received this lovely message from Deb, one of the charity’s founders:
“Hi Dan, this is Deb. I just wanted to let you know that Narla/Amara today sat with a severely autistic child who shrieked at her, cuddled her, wrapped her in a blanket and hit her with a cushion. She didn’t flinch but stayed with him, was gentle and kind and made me incredibly proud. Thank you for allowing us to have the perfect dog for our charity.”
