At Dark Peak Detection Dogs, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality training for detection dogs in a variety disciplines. Our mission is to develop exceptional dogs for various applications including UK statutory services such as Police & HMPPS, MOD, HM Revenue and customs, & the private security industry both in the uk and overseas.

Puppy Training

Pet Scentwork

Fun and rewarding scentwork sessions suitable for dogs of all breeds and abilities. Scentwork provides excellent mental stimulation, helps build confidence and gives your dog a positive outlet for its natural instincts.

Dog Assessments

Honest, practical assessments for owners who would like a better understanding of their dog’s temperament, behaviour, motivation and training needs. We can then recommend a realistic plan moving forward.

New-Dog and Rehoming Support

Considering buying or rehoming a dog? We can help you assess whether a particular dog is suitable for your home, lifestyle, children and existing pets. We can also provide support during the settling-in period.
